Dear Friend,
Thank you for your interest in Union Grove Baptist Church. Please allow
me just a moment to share a little bit about us. This is an incredible
fellowship of believers with a desire to worship God in Spirit and in
truth and make disciples from people of every nation and every walk of
life. So what does this mean to you? It means that while our worship
services may not be filled with special effects that would rival that of
a Broadway production, we do worship God as a people filled with His
Holy Spirit and as a result we have seen God move in our services in
ways that have resulted in eternal life for some through Jesus Christ or
for others it has resulted in just a closer walk with God. It also means
that as a church we take seriously the
command given to us by the Lord
Jesus Christ to go and make disciples. We do this in four primary ways.
First we invite people to get plugged into one of our top-notch Sunday
School classes that are filled with ordinary people just like you who
long to experience a more intimate relationship with Christ. Second, we
make disciples by fellowshipping with one another, praying for one
another, and just simply being there for one another. Third, we make disciples by giving our people the opportunity to be the hands and feet
of Christ. That means sharing the love of Christ by taking a meal to
someone, doing some type of service project for a person in need, or
just simply visiting someone to let them know that Jesus loves them and
gave His life for them. Finally, we participate in missions through
praying, giving, and going so that people all over the world can know
Christ as Savior. In short we like to say that we are just ordinary
people with an extraordinary Savior! If this is the kind of church that
you are looking for then come and worship with us at Union Grove Baptist
Church. Oh…and don’t worry about the jacket and tie, or designer dress,
it’s not required. Just come! God bless you and we look forward to
seeing you very soon.
Because He lives…,
